Fleur-de-lis Interior Design was founded in 1989 by partners Eric McClelland and Peter Lunney. The firm's notoriety has been built on a succession of residential and commercial projects in the Toronto area, including private residences in prestigious Rosedale and Forest Hill, commercial projects in downtown Toronto, Port Credit, and outlying areas as well as Winnipeg, Vancouver, New York City, Boston, and Nassau.

The design emphasis of Fleur-de-lis is always based upon creating interiors that allow the client's tastes and personalities, in conjunction with the creative use of materials, to balance each other in timeless yet innovative designs. Attention to details, custom millwork, exotic materials and creative lighting, coupled with ingenuity and flare has positioned this design duo among the top of Toronto's firms. Every project is a first and each design is individual.

Fleur-de-lis' work has been acknowledged with awards from the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) and from the Design Exchange. Their projects have been featured in The Toronto Star, The National Post, The Globe and Mail, Condo Life, New Dreamhomes, Home and Décor, Home By Design, Trends, and on CityTv's CityLine where Eric is a regular guest expert.

Peter Lunney graduated from Humber College School of Interior Design in 1979. He developed his corporate experience designing Royal Trust branches, McDonald's Restaurants national franchises, Reuters News Agencies and at Citiworks Design.

Eric McClelland, a University of Manitoba graduate, moved to Toronto in 1986. After positions with Ove Design, Manufacturers Life and Volgeysi & Propst Architects, he met Peter Lunney at a small firm called Citiworks Design - where the two completed designs and working drawings for over 40 Skydome skyboxes. A private residence designed in conjunction with acclaimed architect Gordon Ridgely brought Peter and Eric together, started their partnership and culminated in an ARIDO Silver Award of Excellence for Residential Interiors.
